The Member's Lounge
The members' lounge (Toastmasters on 4th) is a password protected area for restricted to members of the Seaway Toastmasters only to communicate with each other on topics other than meeting management which will continue to be done through TurboBase. From the member lounge we can also share documents and files by uploading them for all members to view and / or download, participate in polls and if need be, the executive can hold virtual meetings.

From within the member lounge, each of us can now be responsible for keeping ourselves up to date on what is being shared by our fellow Toastmasters which will take the load off of any one person having to make sure everyone's material is being distributed or posted online. It will also make it easier for us all since we will not have to keep, or in the case of some of us "lose" ;-) our Toastmaster files on our hard drives.
If the treasurer has a new financial report for all members to see, he or she will be able to upload it directly to the member lounge. No mailing or re - mailing the same files as new members join the club. Everything will be held in a central location which will make it easier for all.

New executive officers will also be able to have access to any files necessary for their roles, eliminating the need to rely on the former executive to make the transfer.

Members will be able to have their notifications set to let them know by email when a fellow member has uploaded a new document or started a discussion on the notice board; that way new information will not go unnoticed. If you want to post a message on the discussion board without logging into the members' area, you can post by email to this address: toastmasterson4th@wiggiomail.com

When you receive your invitation to the Toastmasters on 4th, you will have access to a video tutorial to help you navigate your way around.

Go directly to the lounge and use the group name and password by clicking the joining a group link, or you can request your invitation here
